Delaware County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA)

Located in suburban Philadelphia, the Delaware County SPCA has been dedicated to promoting the welfare of companion animals since 1911. Today, with an operating budget of approximately $1.6 million and a reserve fund of approximately $6 million, this open-admission shelter cares for nearly 8,000 animals annually and supports a broad range of programs from adopting homeless animals and reuniting lost animals with their owners to offering low-cost vaccination and microchipping clinics.
